Project Scope
To perform Technical Authoring and Illustrations for an Aircraft Engine, creating structured and standardized technical manuals as per the S1000D Standard. The scope includes the development of comprehensive documentation with accurate technical content and illustrations to support maintenance, troubleshooting, and parts management. Manuals to be developed include:
- CMM (Component Maintenance Manual) – for detailed maintenance procedures of engine components.
- IPC (Illustrated Parts Catalogue) – for part identification and logistics support.
- TSM (Troubleshooting Manual) – for systematic fault diagnosis.
- AMM (Aircraft Maintenance Manual) – for engine-level servicing and maintenance.
- CMMs – for additional component-specific documentation as required.
Project Deliverables
- Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs): S1000D-compliant manuals for multi-platform access and easy navigation.
- CMM: Detailed component servicing and overhaul instructions.
- IPC: Structured parts catalogue with visuals and metadata.
- TSM: Logical fault isolation workflows.
- AMM: Engine maintenance and inspection procedures.
- CMMs: Supplementary component-level manuals.
All content will be developed per S1000D specifications, ensuring consistency, reusability, and integration with digital maintenance systems.
