Roles & Responsibility :
System Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, administrating, and supporting the Requirements & Test Management applications, used by R&D users.
You should have an ability to grasp new technologies quickly and work independently with minimal supervision. You need to be flexible and have a proactive/self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution.

Primary responsibilities:
• Configuration and Administration of IBM CLM/ELM tool chain including Liberty Application server, JAS, IHS
• Install, configure and test middleware, application software, and system management tools
• Ensure the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability
• Incident handling and resolving application issues
• Coordinate with vendors/suppliers to resolve application issues
• Continuously seeking methods to improve the application, supporting processes and promote best practices
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand the business demands
• Create technical designs for changes/projects and new functionality
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure high quality deliverables within organization guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Plan and implement system automation as required for better quality and better efficiency
• Assist in the coordination of various testing activities
Job qualifications:
• Bachelors - Computer Science or Electronic & Communication or Information Systems
• Relevant technical experience of 3 to 7 years
• Strong analytical and technical IT skills · You are a fast learner; you think outside the box
• Expertise in CLM tools like IBM Enterprise Lifecycle Management (ERM, ETM, EWM, LQE, RPE)
• Hands-on experience in deploying/managing IBM - ELM/CLM application suite, WebSphere application server
• Knowledge and experience with Linux platforms (preferably RHEL)
• Strong Linux command line and shell scripting skills
• Proficient in scripting languages Python and/or Perl
• Experience with web server administration such as Apache will be a plus
• Knowledge with DevOps tools and platforms like Git, Ansible and Splunk
• Managing AWS hosted application will be a plus
• Ability to use performance monitoring tools and able to set up monitoring
• Conceptual ITIL Knowledge and understanding of Agile / scrum methodology (Agile SAFe)
• Experience with Oracle, MySQL and Postgres is a plus
As the IBM ELM Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will be responsible for providing expert-level technical support and direction for the Requirements and Test Management applications in the R&D IT organization. Your role will involve troubleshooting, resolving complex issues, participating in 3x5WHY for RCA, and ensuring we run in the most optimized way our operational environment supporting critical business processes.
You should have the ability to grasp new technologies quickly and mentor the PRTM team with your in-depth knowledge. You need to be flexible and have a proactive/self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution.

Job qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience of Product Requirements and Test Management tool viz IBM Enterprise lifecycle Management (ELM) in MUST.
• Proven experience in application support, with a focus on troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise applications, databases, and operating systems.
• Proficiency in analyzing log files, debugging tools, and diagnostic techniques.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, particularly incident and problem management.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Conceptual ITIL Knowledge and understanding of Agile / scrum methodology (Agile SAFe)
The nature of work shall involve direct interaction with Business Unit (BU) key stakeholders to understand and document the business requirements, study the existing Engineering change business process and build optimal solutions to enhance existing Change management workflow process, enhance custom reports/ Rich client customizations, support BU with unit Testing, Troubleshoot and fix issues, coordinate with IT team to deploy custom solutions in Test/ Production Environment, and prepare Project documents as per Audit norms. Additional support is also required on a need basis with the ongoing Data Migration & site consolidation tasks.

Requirements:
• DAL A Verification experience, including experience generating and reviewing Test Procedures and Test Scripts
• Experience in Requirement Based Testing concepts and Hardware Software Integration Testing
• Expertise on Software Development Life Cycle and DO-178B/C guidelines.
• Good knowledge on Python scripting
• Need to have technical ownership experience and hold accountable to own technical aspects of the projects within shorter time span
• Broad exposure to a wide variety of tools and understand purpose and application of tools to the software life cycle phases • Responsible for building a good rapport with team through his/her technical interaction.
• Good communication skills
• Should be able to create technical backup with respect to current and future engagements.
• Ensure compliance to standard and Monitor process and product quality and assure corrective action where necessary
